A visit to this museum will give you an understanding of the power of the Arsenal, which was the military shipyard of Venice, as well as knowledge of the naval battles of the past that the Venetian forces were involved in.Keep on walking along the fondamenta of the Arsenale where the church and school of San Martino stand, stop walking at the Scuola of San Giorgio degli Schiavoni, the place that states the presence of the important Dalmatian community in Venice.
The school is internally decorated with the masterpieces of Vittore Carpaccio.
