Palazzo Valier, XVth century palace, located 100 meters walking from Rialto Bridge.
The palace inherits his name from the Doge Silvestro Valier (1630-1700), son of the Doge Bertuccio Valier. Elected the 25th of February 1694. The Doge Silvestro loved luxury, scene and art. His wife, Elisabetta Querini, had been the last Dogaressa elected on the 4th of March 1694.
The palace is known to be the house of the great venetian painter of the Italian XIVth century: Giorgione.
With the refined atmosphere of its elegant rooms, Palazzo Valier is the ideal setting for cultural events, cocktails and dinner parties.
